Spanish for Beginners

Learn the official language of 21 countries. Sunshine Coast TAFE offers a course in Spanish for Beginners, which will provide you with conversation skills. You'll learn from a qualified tutor interpreter/translator.

This course is perfect for travellers or if you have an interest in learning how to communicate in Spanish and hold a basic conversation within a short space of time. Classes are relaxed and user-friendly and incorporate Spanish/Latin-American culture, songs and music.

The course will cover: basic conversational greetings and replies; pronunciation; talking about yourself; asking directions; telling the time; shopping and eating out; months and seasons; colours and numbers; basic grammar, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns and prepositions, verbs - regular and irregular; easy translation texts; interpreting for each other; the use of 'ser' and 'estar' and accents and stresses.

All form fields are required.
