Responsible Management of Licensed Venues RMLV combined with RSA

If you're in a supervisory or management position and you're aspiring become an approved manager or licensee, you need to obtain a RMLV, ASAP. Sunshine Coast TAFE offers a course in Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) combined.

You'll learn about: responsible service - the law; licenses and permits; the legal framework; the license documents; patron management strategies; risk management; networks to support management; safety management strategies; benefits of good management; best practice management; noise management strategies; and other legislative considerations.

Applicants for licences and/or approved manager who apply after 1 January 2009 will be required to have RMLV and RSA training completed prior to any final approval being granted. A manager's approval remains in force for five (5) years. RMLV and RSA training must be renewed every three (3) years. Liquor licensing certificates will be issued for RMLV & RSA will be issued.

Please note: Certification received from this course is only valid in Queensland. All new liquor licensing legislation (Jan 2009) will also be covered during this course.
