Italian For beginners - Level 1

Want to become one of the 125 million people worldwide who speak Italian as a foreign language? Take the first step by enrolling in a short course in Italian for Beginners at Sunshine Coast TAFE. This course is also suitable if you're thinking of travelling to Italy or if you're just interested in learning about Italian language, culture and geography.

The course covers: greetings; using the polite form of address; discussing daily communicative tasks; ordering, asking where someone or something is; asking and giving directions; likes and dislikes; negative expressions; cultural backgrounds of some of Italy's famous regions; and how to negotiate simple oral transactions for goods, services and information. You'll undertake pairwork activities where you'll be required use your initiative to suit specific situations.
