Course Summary

Interior Decoration, Colour and Introduction to Design


This course will prepare you for work in the areas of colour selection for project builders; flooring, paint, tiles, and laminates. The professional folio you will prepare during the course may assist you in gaining employment.

To give you a practical understanding of colour, furniture, window treatments and other aspects of decorating and design, you will be given a residential project to work on during the 16 weeks. You will put together professional presentation boards for your client recommending layout and decoration styles.

This is a very intense program, with a vast amount of skill and knowledge being delivered over the 16 lessons. Please allocate three hours a week outside class time for project work.
Upon completion, participants will receive a Result of Assessment for:

About your Trainer
Learn from the expertise of Eileen Middleton Bachelor of Built Environment INTERIOR DESIGN.
Eileen has had formal training in commercial and residential design, with experience in residential refurbishment work, specialising in kitchen design.
