Course Summary

GMDSS Global Maritime Distress and Safety System - Revalidation


The GMDSS Revalidation course is offered to holders of a GMDSS General Operators Certificate that is no longer valid because the holder has been working in a shore based job and wishes to return to sea.

The GMDSS-GOC must also be revalidated every 5 years for shore based personnel to maintain their other seafaring qualifications.

All course materials, including the AMSA GMDSS manual and a special training CDROM are supplied and included in the course fee.
