Course Summary

GMDSS Global Maritime Distress and Safety System - General Operators Certificate


Held over eight days includes Saturday, the course teaches participants to use live to air as well as computer based practice equipment.

Morning tea is provided. Lunch is not provided.

All course materials, including the AMSA GMDSS manual and a special training CDROM are supplied and included in the course fee.

Direct Enrolment

By telephone
You can enrol over the phone and we will complete all of the necessary forms for you and take your payment. Payments are accepted by credit card on (07) 5457 1000 between 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri.

In Person
Call into any of our Customer Contact Centres and we will provide you with full details of your course and complete your enrolment forms with you.
We can take payment directly over the counter using cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS - Mon-Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm at the following Campuses:

Selection of Core and Electives Competencies are offered at Institute's Discretion. This course may include some competencies in excess of qualification requirements, programs are designed to meet industry needs.
