If you've always wanted to yell "timber!" you should enrol in a short course in Chainsaw Level II at Sunshine Coast TAFE. This course will provide you with industry-compliant knowledge and skills in felling small trees. You'll learn about: tree felling techniques; safety requirements; the use of personal protective equipment; legislative requirements; and relevant codes of practice/advisory standards.
For this class you'll be required to wear steel cap boots. All other personal protective equipment will be supplied by Sunshine Coast TAFE. Chainsaw Level 1 is a pre-requisite to this course.
This course meets Australian requirements for chainsaw operations in the workplace.
