Build websites with Dreamweaver

The tutors at Sunshine Coast TAFE will weave their magic and have you designing your own website in no time. Simply enrol in a course in Build Websites with Dreamweaver and you'll learn how to use Dreamweaver CS5 and Photoshop CS5.

The course covers: interface design and construction; introduction to html; page building techniques; navigation systems; basic cascading style sheets CSS; optimising images for the web using IFrames; how to create a custom cgi form; and uploading to the web using ftp.

You'll learn about: designing for different browsers and screen resolutions; the steps involved in getting a website online; designing a website interface; page building techniques; navigation systems; transferring your design elements; creating advanced features; uploading to server using ftp; and testing the completed site.

Basic computer skills are required. Skills are required in basic image editing using programs such as Photoshop. Please note: this course does not teach students how to create processes that allow transactions to occur over the Internet.

All form fields are required.
