Apply Techniques To Produce Paintings
Whether it's a hobby or career, the Apply Techniques to Produce Paintings short course from Sunshine Coast TAFE will give you the skills to add some wow factor to your masterpieces!
During this course, a strong emphasis is placed on experimenting with the nature of paint and colour as well as the different applications used to achieve a range of effects. You will be introduced to the characteristics and use of opaque and transparent colours, painting mediums, glazing, colour mixing and colour selection, uses and types of brushes and preparation of painting surfaces. Various approaches to paint application are also explored, including blending, glazing, scumbling, wet in wet and impasto.
