Sunshine Coast TAFE offers the necessary accredited competencies that enable successful participants to apply for an Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control Act 1966 (ACDC) licence. The licence is a standard requirement of many workplaces and employers, and is also known as the commercial operators licence.
Topics include weed control, chemical identification, preparation & application of chemicals, label & MSDS interpretation, clean up operations, transport and storage.
The three courses RTC3401A, RTC3704A and RTC3705A are covered and there is requisite assessment at the end of the program.
