Information :

This course is offered in partnership with Southbank Institute of Technology and is delivered at Sunshine Coast TAFE. For more information or to apply, please Register your Interest using the link below. You will receive an information pack from Southbank Institute of Technology which will include details on how to enrol.

Course lectures are scheduled for two nights per week for 18 weeks from 6pm-9pm. Students will need to access the Internet. Approximately 6-10 additional hours per week is required for student study and preparation. There are also group assignments that the student will have to be prepared to organise and participate in outside of class time. 

Career Prospects :

Great employment and career opportunities in middle to senior level management positions including general management or specific areas of management (ie HR, finance, marketing or operations) in a wide variety of industries.

 

Entry Requirement :

There are no entry requirements for this program. However, it is strongly recommended that participants have at least 5 - 10 years work experience. It is also recommended that students have practical management exposure and experience with an understanding of issues in large complex organisations. 

Assessment Information :

Assessments will be focused on the current work environments of students to ensure the relevance of the course for students. This also provides students the opportunity to review existing work processes and practices and inform continuous improvement within their own organisation based on best practice.

Additional University Pathway Options: Graduates of the Advanced Diploma of Management can apply to Queensland University of Technology for credit in the following units of the Bachelor of Business:

MGB223 Entrepreneurship and Innovation

and 48 credit points of elective units, a total of 96 credit points (equal to one year of full time study), leaving two years of study to complete the degree. Students should apply for entry into university through the usual QTAC process and contact the university directly to have credit recognised.
